Immerse yourself in the world of chocolate during this chocolate workshop at the Belgian Chocolate Makers in Brussels.

Roll up your sleeves and follow alongside a chocolatier to make your own chocolate bar, truffles, and mendiants. Enjoy a hot chocolate or a glass of lemonade (depending the season) while you work.

Make your very own personalized chocolate bar and some tasty mendiants and truffles using ethic and sustainable chocolate from Haiti.

Taste our cacao at all steps: the beans themselves, the cacao liqueur (before we add the sugar) and also a delicious granité of mucilage. As you work, you will also taste several origin of chocolates.

At the end of the experience, pack up all your chocolates and take them home with you to share with friends and family (or keep your sweet treats all to yourself).

This is an entertaining workshop to learn about our ethical and sustainable cacao and to make some chocolates with our chocolate maker. It is not a class to make some chocolate bean to bar. You cannot become a chocolatier in 1.5h... Making chocolate from the beans take a minimum of 2 days so nowhere you will learn how to make some chocolates from the beans in a few hours. This is an activity for good vibes and respectful people only. If you are not able to share a great entertaining moment with other people, please do not book this activity. We also ask the participants to respect our staff. Our chocolate makers share their passion, their time and their knowledge with the participants so we expect no late arrival and no interference with the experience itself.

Start your experience at The Belgian Chocolate Makers training centre and booking desk located Place de la Justice 5. It is located near Gare Centrale and Mont des Arts. We will check your tickets first and give you a hairnet, a quizz card that can allow you to have 20% of discount in our stores and, of course, a wristband to access the activity. Please visit our booking desk at least 5mns before the activity starts. We have two stores and workshops in Brussels very closed to each other. It can be Rue Lebeau 3/11 or Rue de Namur 6. Our staff will bring you to one of these locations once you have checked in at our booking desk. There will be no acceptance once the workshop has started. Be prepared to tie back your long hair as you will need to wear a hairnet.

Know before you go

  • Our chocolate comes from Haiti. We propose to work with dark and milk chocolates. If you are vegan or lactose intolerant you will only be able to work with dark chocolate. Our toppings contain nuts.
  • The checking closed as soon as the activity starts. You will not be accepted then, no matter what is the excuse given for the late attendance.

it was awesome to see the kitchen and handmade chocolate shop and of course to have this kind of activities. Gaining knowledge and have different varieties of chocolate percentage and from which country itself. enjoying and having fun whilst making milk chocolate tablet, truffle and mandiant to create your own. Best part whatever made will take home 😍. only once concern I booked the activity 11:00am and when I arrived it said it will be 2pm. No one inform me that 11 is cancell. the rest it's great. but waste my time planning especially if your not staying for long in brussels.
