Meet at the Porta della Mandorla - the dome entrance door. The activity provider's assistant will wait for you at least 15 minutes before the reserved time. They will be wearing a yellow jacket with the activity provider's name on it.

Know before you go
- Any kind of bag and backpack are NOT allowed
- You'll receive the Audio Guide App instructions on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the visit, MUST install it as soon as it arrives
- Every customer MUST do a security check line. At the busiest times, the wait can last around 15-30 minutes
- The 3-day pass effectively starts from the DATE and TIME you scheduled the Dome climb experience
- You will climb 463 steps to reach the top of the Dome, NO ELEVATOR
- The Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault and every first Sunday of the month closes at 2.00 pm
- The Cathedral and the crypt are closed on Sundays and for liturgical reasons without notice
- Opera del Duomo Museum at Piazza del Duomo n. 9, closed on the first Tuesday of every month
- Santa Reparata access at the Cathedral “Porta Santa” (south side, beside the Bell Tower)
- Shoulders and knees MUST be covered to get into the cathedral's ground floor, baptistery, and crypt, but not required in other sites of the dome
