We drove and mis read brown road sign turning left so went down earlier left street to boat yards. Once there we had to drive around the block looking for correct road. Staff at the ticket desk were helpful over admission ad app for site not easy to use on my old iPhone. Ended up with a paper map and a volunteer explaining route to underwater experience and entrance through museum. Note husband in 80’s and I am late 70’’s in age. We did tour all parts of Ss Great Brittain successfully and loved the interaction with the character actors and volunteers.

Very interesting! A lot of thought has gone into the information displayed. The various hands-on exhibits were great for kids. I do wish the information plaques for many of the smaller exhibits were more prominently displayed and printed in a larger font. At times, they were quite hard to read. So good to see such a vessel restored and preserved. Well done to all involved in this project.

Our guide Sam made the bike tour really interesting with fascinating facts and stories about Bristol’s mixed history. An excellent introduction to a vibey and artsy city. It would help if the guide wore a bright t-shirt or vest with cycle city tours on it.
