Full description
During this 2.5-hour workshop you’ll learn how to temper chocolate to craft 2 types of Belgian chocolates. The 2 chocolates you will craft throughout this experience will be as follows. Pralines: the most famous Belgian chocolate, consisting of a delicate chocolate shell with a creamy filing. You’ll learn how to make both the shell and the filling from scratch. Mendiants: chocolate discs studded with dried fruits, both crispy and delicious. You’ll make at least 30 chocolates, which you can either eat on the spot or take home to family and friends. This activity was a lot of fun. The guide, Noor, was knowledgeable, organized and well prepared. There were plenty of supplies and chocolate for everyone. She was a very patient and calm instructor. I think everyone in the workshop was very pleased with the activity and take home box of chocolates.

Excellent activity and our guide Amelia was very sweet and very knowledgeable about chocolate making. It was a truly wonderful experience. The only thing that would have made it better was if we had received receipee’s for what we made. The hot chocolate was a nice bonus touch.

Absolutely loved this, learnt a lot about the whole process. Our teacher was really good at reading the group of various nationalities and she was very approachable and fun. The venue was easy to find down a cute quiet cobbled street on the western side of Bruges. Ours was definitely a full class with 2 groups of 16 so plenty of banter around the tables to add to the enjoyment. We got to make a healthy size box of wonderful chocolates with all sorts of fillings or topping, some of them even made it home to share.... word of advice though, don't wear your best white shirt!! Chocolate isn't tidy!
