Full description
Once a dilapidated factory complex and now a bustling shopping and design destination, there’s much to see — and taste — in Industry City. Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the facilities, gaining a first-hand look at the urban renewal project, exploring the offering of merchants all the while. 

Taste some artisanal pizza and ice cream while you sip on craft beer. Explore a leather studio, a raw honey fabricator, and a ceramics workshop. Go behind the scenes to see how the complex functions. After your tour, you’ll have the opportunity to shop for some of the goods you’ve seen being made — with a discount to boot.

Meeting point

Meet your guide 5-10 minutes before the tour starts. 220 36th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232. Take the D, N or R subway to 36th Street in Brooklyn and then walk just 2 blocks (towards the 3rd Avenue which is also towards the BQE and the water) and walk up 36th Street. Enter the building on the left towards the end and you will meet your guide by the entrance to the restaurant / community workspace, Filament. If you are running late, please let us know as a courtesy to the fellow attendees. We cannot wait more than 5 minutes for late arrivals.
