Full description
Folk art and its tradition is one of the greatest treasures of the Czechs and Slovaks. From the point of view of ethnography, Bohemia and Moravia are a combination of many regions distinguished by their lavish costumes, songs and folk arts.
Day 1 -  In the morning transfer to the town of Straznice, center of Southern Moravian folklore, site of the annual International Festival of Folk Songs and Dances. You will see traditional Straznice hand-painted pottery, which is still produced.  You will visit  Skanzen (an open-air museum) and Straznice Castle. You will have a chance to watch the production of blue and white print textiles, typical of Moravian crafts.

Day 2 - Vnorovy - Excursion to houses which still manufacture traditional natural products - "Sustovych vyrobku" (made from maize leaves). Then you'll watch lace-making and embroidery in this picturesque village, and see how painted eggs, "Kraslice", are made.
In the afternoon you'll be invited to visit wine cellars from  the 16th century in the small village of Plze, which is protected by UNESCO. You'll also see working vineyards here.
Enjoy dinner in a wine cellar with folk music and dancing in traditional folk costumes.

Day 3 - Excursion of Blatnice area and see homemade folk costumes being made. This place is also known for its folk architecture and art.
After lunch, you'll go to the town of Uherske Hradiste - the center of the folk area "Slovacko". See the manufacturing of folk costumes here (the type of costume varies from one area to  another).
In the late afternoon, you can visit the Romance Cathedral in Velehrad, scenic at sunset.
