Full description
Go behind the scenes of a working winery and gain insight into the art of winemaking, finishing with a private wine tasting of a selection of Sirromet’s award-winning wines.  All winery tours include walking around the property and through production areas to give all customers a complete understanding of an operating winery. Be delighted with information on wine production and the history and story of Sirromet. Make your way to the cellar door and enjoy the ‘taste’ of Sirromet with a wine tasting. Sirromet boasts a range of wines including white, red, and sparkling, not to mention a great red dessert wine. With the ever expanding ranges you may even be one of the first to try something new. Reminiscent of Tuscany, relax on the 75 meter timber deck or under the shade of the fig trees in the Amoroso area. The Tuscan Terrace is home to a state-of-the-art kitchen delivering wonderful seasonal flavours of the freshest local produce and ingredients prepared in traditional Tuscan home-style cooking. Following your winery tour and tasting, you will be treated to a 2 course lunch at the Tuscan Terrace. Lunch will consist of an entree and main or main and dessert from the Tuscan seasonal menu, accompanied by a glass of Sirromet wine, soft drink, juice, tea or coffee.

Lovely staff, but very disorganised lunch

Staff were amazing, however we booked on the busiest day of their calendar - Mothers' Day! Our seats were taken before we arrived and we had to stand & wait for over half an hour to get seating. The lunch comprised a shared antipasta platter followed by a main course - or so we thought. We waited 45 minutes for our buzzer to announce that our food was ready only to be told that the whole lot had to be collected! Shared platters & mains together! We obviously wasted the platters - shame they couldn't have sent these out as an "ENTREE"! The wine tour was excellent - Steve our guide was exceptional. We ended up having a lovely day, just a shame about the reserved table having the seating pinched & all food made to be taken at once.
