It was an awesome experience to get through 3 activities in one day at Moreton Island! Moreton island was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very well organised - from getting all the admin stuff completed prior to getting on the Mircat, to arranging the groups to have rostered activities and then a nice, no-fuss lunch that didn’t require any plates and cutleries! The time set for each activity was great, however, it would have been nice to have more time to jump in the water before hopping back on the Mircat. The tour guides were so nice, friendly and helpful. In particular, I’d like to commend Gemma, who encouraged me to snorkel despite my fear of being out in the deep, as I am not a swimmer. She suggested I grab onto the float and she will hold onto it, to give me an opportunity to see the beautiful fish. She did as promised and I truly enjoyed the experience! Thank you so much Gemma! I was surprised it was her first day because she did so well!

From flinging ourselves down a sand dune with Dan after an exciting 4 x 4 bus ride to the desert to refuelling with a wonderful wrap and then kayaking in a clear kayak, watching them all swim under us and hand feeding them and finally ending our day with JetSki tow to snorkelling amongst the tangalooma wrecks - what a bloody good experience. All of the hosts were amazing, they supply everything you could possibly need and make one incredibly amazing day out. My British boyfriend had a whole day of firsts and even as an Aussie who grew up at the beach, I was beyond impressed.

A good day out. Beware there is an extra cost of $70 in the additional info, you pay this before getting on the coach although you can pay by card. The group was also 50 people, split up into two groups alternating between snorkelling and kayaking. I had to switch bus as a girl and her mother on the bigger bus was getting travel sick, and then I ended up at the back of the bus, last one to get lunch, and had only just sat down to eat when we were given a 5 minute warning for time to snorkel! All the activities were quite rushed, but the sandboarding was pretty cool. An exhausting day but good fun. Also, the company needs to invest in some more water coolers - we arrived at the sand dunes, they told us to drink plenty of water since it was a hot day with plenty of physical exertion, then told us not to drink too much as 'water is scarce' despite the fact that we'd just come from Brisbane where they could've easily brought more water from.
