Full description
Departing central Brisbane by bus, see some of the local city sights as you travel towards Cleveland. Arrive at the ferry which will then transport you to Stradbroke Island. Once on the island, stroll along the famous scenic North Gorge Walk with your expert local guide. Depending on the season you may spot kangaroos, turtles, dolphins, manta rays, or whales. After the walk, head to a local pub for some lunch and a local beer overlooking Cylinder Beach. Following lunch, make your way down to the beach and enjoy some time sunbathing or swimming. You can also hire a surfboard for an hour on the day. Next, continue to Amity Point and search for koalas and dolphins which can often be seen up-close and personal. The final destination for the day is Brown Lake, a beautiful body of water located near Dunwich, after which you will be taken back to Brisbane.
