Commence your guided tour from the castle, the most famous monument in town. Learn its history, from a fortified encampment in the eleventh century to its use as a Baronial residence. Explore its auditorium and access the 20-meter tall tower, discovering the ways in which the castle was used over the ages. Then visit the Granafei museum, where you will witness the important archaeological discoveries from the historical Messapian civilization that once flourished in these lands.  Afterwards, wander through the ancient town and visit the majestic church dedicated to All Saints, built between 1649 and 1660.
