Full description

Meet your guide at the conveniently-located Brighton pick-up point. Board an airconditioned vehicle with plenty of space. Relax as you take in views of rolling chalk hills that were created over thousands of years by farmers grazing their animals.

Stop at Devil's Dyke, the largest dry valley in the UK. Admire stunning views of up to 30 miles across the lowland Weald. Learn how this landscape was created from your guide. Visit Middle Farm, a traditional farm that has been in the same family for over 200 years.

Continue to the Seven Sisters Country Park and the white cliffs. Pass through old country lanes to see the mysterious and ancient Longman of Wilmington, a huge Neolithic carving on the side of the Downs.

Walk to the top of England's highest chalk cliff, measuring 530 feet. Head to Seaford Head for the iconic views of the Seven Sisters. Before stopping in the village of Rottingdean.

Stroll through the gardens of Rudyard Kipling, author of 'The Jungle Book,' before transferring back to the city center of Brighton in the evening.

I never thought it would be such an enjoyable tour. The scenery was all very pretty, the guide was very good at explaining everything, and the travel time, rest time, sightseeing time, everything was very just right! The atmosphere was relaxed, spontaneous and very enjoyable from start to finish. It was just the perfect break from studying! I used to think London was the best city, but maybe not.

Booked the excursion to Seven Sisters and South Downs through Get Your Guide. Departed from Brighton. Lawrence was our guide. With his humor and a wealth of knowledge about the area, he told beautiful stories. It was a cold but sunny day which made the views even better. The villages were charming and unique and the viewpoints we walked to were spectacular. Highly recommended!

It was a great tour. Our guide, Adam, was well informed about the history of the area but also he let us know from the outset just what was involved; the sights we would see, where we would stop and the travelling time in between. It was the most professional tour I have ever experienced and I would highly recommend it. This combined with the fact that the tour was a minibus tour made the experience truly memorable.
