I booked rifle shooting for my son (aged 15) and I to try a new activity, spend time together & create memories. Polowood Shooting Ground did not let us down. After driving down a very narrow lane in thick fog we parked on the designated grass. A minibus came to collect us & took us up the very bumpy lane to the range. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly team offering hot beverages. The rifle seating was under cover which was excellent as we picked a day that was pouring with rain. But this did not stop us having lots of fun. Nathan gave us a safety brief, showed us how to hold & use the rifle. Nathan was brilliant, especially with me as I was not very confident. There were lots of targets and at different ranges and we had competitive targets against other groups. Overall the set up was excellent and my son & I both had a brilliant time. Great value for money. We will be both definitely coming back.

There will be sign at our meeting point for Polowood Shooting Ground Park on the grass area to left of the sign The minibus will pick you up from here. If the minibus is not there please use the walkie talkie on the side of the buildings to let the team know you have arrived. We have toilets in our pick up area when a staff members arrives please do not use the farmland as this upsets our neighbors. Our neighbors are not associated with the venue so please do not disturb our neighbors. Thank you
