Step aboard a classic catamaran for a guided snorkeling trip to the waters around Barbados. See Sea Turtles and shipwrecks, enjoy lunch and an open bar, and relax on board the vessel. Enjoy pickup from your accommodation before boarding the catamaran in Bridgetown. Be greeted by the crew and get ready to head out into the Ocean and your first snorkeling stop. Strap on your snorkeling equipment and dive into the ocean to encounter its friendly sea turtles. Emerge from the water to dry off and soak up some sun rays on deck. Head back into the water on your second stop to dive amongst historical shipwrecks. Marvel at the colorful, tropical fish swimming among the ancient remains of boats. On this excursion, you will be relaxing at Savvy on The Bay, on Carlisle Bay, with its white sand and turquoise water. Upon arrival at Savvy on the Bay, enjoy a welcome drink and lie back on your complimentary beach chair with a sun umbrella, before hunting for sand dollars along the shore. The beach has washrooms, and showers for your convenience. Although lunch is not included in the Barbados Beach Day tour, you may purchase food and drinks onsite. Your day also includes a turtle and shipwreck cruise on Tranquility Cruises with a drink onboard. A mask, snorkel and snorkel vest are provided for your use to snorkel at a stunning shipwreck full of marine life and swim with the sea turtles in the tropical, warm waters of Carlisle Bay.

On this tour you will be taken on a journey that will include how the city got its name and end when it got its independence 50 years ago.  A picture is first painted of the space now called Independence Square before homage is paid to the unceremonial "burial ground" of the slaves as they landed on the island.  The "Blackwood Screw dock" is the next stop before heading to on of two of the "bridges" in the city. Celebrating achievements such at running water into the city at "the fountain", recognizing the sacrifices of the men of the two world wars at "the Cenotaph" occur before the stately "Parliament Buidlings" are revealed in story. The story of the "birth of rum" is next before the "Jewish ancentors" are recognized.  The commercial activity on the popular "Swan Street" is shared as the "oldest street" in Bridgetown in explored. This is followed by the "oldest church" and the "Town Hall".  The magnificent "Mutual Building" waits patiently to share all her stories then attention is turned to another "street of commercial significance" before the spirit of the wharf and "the Spirit Bond" shares her story.  A stroll along the boardwalk takes you back to the start where the story of "Independence "is told to end an exciting tour.
