    1. Bremen: Guided Tour of City Center

Wander through the market square, the heart of Bremen and one of the prettiest squares in Germany. Marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage listed town hall and the stone statue of Roland. Study the sculpture of the Bremen Town Musicians, made famous in a Brothers Grimm fairytale. Discover Böttcherstraße, a pedestrian alleyway bursting with tradition where the böttcher (coopers) used to make their barrels. Leading from the market square down to the Weser river, the most famous street in Bremen is an attraction in itself with historical red-brick buildings interspersed with modern Expressionist architecture. Take in the picturesque Schnoor quarter, the oldest part of Bremen. Wander through its rambling lanes, where fishermen, artisans and sailors once lived. Explore the cafés, taverns, top-notch restaurants and handicraft stores that now line the streets.

The Guide was great! You can see how much love and appreciation he has for this beautiful city. There was no time for boredom during this tour. Absolute recommendation! PS. You probably should plan a bit more than 2 Hours for this tour, there is a lot to see!

What people are saying about Bremen

The city guide spoke perfect English (since she was English!) And also slowly, so that guests who spoke other languages but spoke English could understand everything very well. In addition, the tour through the stations, which also have seating, was well designed in terms of the process. We also got a comprehensive knowledge of the history of Bremen. It was an all-round very satisfactory result. Thanks a lot for this!

An excellent introduction to Bremen in general but especially the attractions most people wish to visit. It helped us organise what to do next. Gerd was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, humorous and caring of the group.

The guide was an amazing charming person with excellent story telling skills. Loved the way he explained and covered all the location.

Our guide knew absolutely everything there is to know about Bremen. He was nice and experienced.
