Make your way back to Cape Town in the evening.

Departing Cape Town, we head towards Cape Agulhas, the true Southern Tip of Africa and its famous lighthouse. En-route visit Betty’s Bay where an African penguin colony calls this home. On to Hermanus which is known as the best land-based whale watching destination in the World and where the majestic Southern right whales calve their young in the Bay. We meander to Cape Agulhas with views over the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and tonight you will overnight at a 4-Star Guest House Leaving the Southern Tip of Africa, you make your way to the magnificent Garden Route Game Lodge. This 4-Star facility offers a unique Safari experience. Check into our award winning chalets or lodge rooms as allocated with time to spare to enjoy the attractions and views it has to offer. In the afternoon, hop aboard an open-aired Safari vehicle, where a local guide will take you on a 2-hours game drive. Spot elephants, rhinos, lions, hippos, herds of antelope, and much, much more. A 3-course dinner is on the menu for the evening. Spend the night at the Garden Route Game Lodge A morning game drive awaits you bright and early, spotting some of the animals you perhaps did not see the day before. After a scrumptious breakfast, make your way back to Cape Town via the incredibly scenic Route 62 through mountain passes and characterful towns. Wine tasting and exploring are on the menu before arrival at your place of accommodation around 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The tour can run back to front due to accommodation availability issues.

Day 1: Cape Town - Hermanus - Cape Agulhas Start your trip by departing from Cape Town to Hermanus. Follow the scenic coastal road to Betty's Bay to see a colony of endangered African penguins. Spend the afternoon in the seaside resort town of Hermanus, famous for being the home to hundreds of southern right whales from July to November. Later, drive on to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa and the place where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Day 2: Cape Agulhas - Oudtshoorn Travel to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, known as the Ostrich Capital of the World, via Route 62, South Africa’s longest wine route. Enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at a local winery before checking into your accommodation, a working game farm in the Little Karoo. As the sun goes down, join a tour of the ostrich farm. Take in the views of the Outeniqua and Swartberg mountain ranges in the background before calling it a night. Day 3: Oudtshoorn - Sedgefield After breakfast, head to Outeniqua Mountain Pass and explore the Wilderness National Park by canoe. Paddle up the Touw River through the indigenous forest with an abundance of bird life. After about 40 minutes, leave the canoes for a 2 km hike along a boardwalk to a waterfall with rock pools. In the late afternoon, spend time exploring Sedgefield with its expansive views and beaches. Day 4: Sedgefield - Knysna - Tsitsikamma - Addo Head to the famous town of Knysna via the lavish Lake District of the Garden Route. Visit the Knysna Heads Viewpoint for sweeping views over the Knysna River and the Indian Ocean. Next, stop at Bloukrans Bridge to view the world’s highest bungee jump bridge. Midday will be spent in Tsitsikamma National Park, with its unique combination of indigenous forest and Indian Ocean coastline. The park has a wide choice of activities including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge, and swimming. In the afternoon, leave the Garden Route for the Big Five country, Addo. Day 5: Addo - Wilderness - Sedgefield Spend the morning exploring Addo Elephant National Park. Get up to 2-3 hours to roam the 28,000-hectare national reserve, home to approximately 600 elephants and other animals including buffalo, lions, rhinos, warthogs, and more. After a morning on safari, drive back to the Garden Route where you'll stay overnight in the Wilderness or Sedgefield area. Day 6: Wilderness - Sedgefield - Mossel Bay - Cape Town After breakfast, stop in Mossel Bay to spend some time on the beach. Hike the Cape St. Blaize trail along the seaside cliffs and visit the famous Diaz Museum complex, which commemorates the first known European exploration around the tip of Africa. The more adventurous can try a 10,000-foot tandem skydive or sandboarding on the longest dune in South Africa. Later, arrive back at Cape Town in the early evening for drop-off.

Snap pictures of the shipwrecks on the rocks. Return to your accommodation in Cape Town at the end of your tour.

Guests will be collected at their accommodation by a qualified tour guide in a luxury private vehicle. Embark on a journey to the southernmost tip of Africa where the two oceans meet, and explore Cape Agulhas and other towns along the route. This is one of the most beautiful tours one can experience. Stop at Stony Point to view the African Penguins colony, one of the largest colonies of penguins in the Cape. After lunch, make your way to Cape Agulhas, where you will walk the pathway that leads to the official meeting point of the two oceans (Indian and Atlantic oceans) and take some photos. From there, explore the lighthouse, which is one of the oldest in South Africa and situated at the southernmost tip of Africa. Pass through some small towns along the route back to Cape Town, where guests will be dropped off at their accommodation or a restaurant for dinner.

Head southeast from Cape Town via Sir Lowry’s Pass to Cape Overberg – a region of rugged mountain ranges and picturesque vistas. The 9-hour tour continues through the citrus orchards of the Overberg. Stop for refreshments at a farm stand before reaching Caledon, established in the 18th century to cater for visitors seeking healing at the nearby hot springs. Take a break for lunch and a wine tasting at a local winery, before checking into your accommodation, which is on a working game farm in the Little Karoo. Look for indigenous animals in the 28,000-hectare national reserve, including approximately 600 elephants along with Cape buffalo, lions, black rhinos, warthogs, zebras, eland, kudu, hartebeest, and many more. Elim is a quiet and neat town that was established in 1824 by German missionaries as a Moravian station near Cape town. Despite extensive modernization in most small towns near Elim, very little has changes in Elim ever since it was established. Clustered whitewashed cottages with thatched roofs runs parallel the quiet streets of this beautiful town that has close to zero percent crime rate. While you are still here, you will be taken for a walk by your guide and visit different historic buildings to learn a lot more about Elim's history as well as the recent developments. From Elim the tour will traverse extremely south to Struis baai. Struis baai is the most southern town in Africa and it is here that the Cape Agulhas is situated. Cape Agulhas lies in the Agulhas national park. Consisting of a large part of South Africa's wetland reserves, The wetlands attracts over 20 thousand different bird species annually. The Agulhas national park is also a part of the Cape floral Kingdom which is the world's richest flora kingdom.
