Full description

Board the sightseeing boat, sit back, relax and enjoy cruising on the calm Danube. Take in views of Bratislava's historic center, its riverbank and the Castle of Bratislava.

Continue sailing under the SNP bridge, a bridge without support suspended at asymmetrical pylon. Continue on to the the Lanfranconi Bridge, where the boat turns back.

On the way back, admire Janko Kral Park on the right bank of Danube. Catch picturesque views of both sides of the Danube in the section between the renovated Old Bridge and the Apollo Bridge.

Meeting point

There is no guide waiting for the clients. The clients have to check the pontoon/pier number on the departure board above the main entrance to the Passenger Port, Fajnorovo nábrežie 2, 811 02 Bratislava and they go to the pontoon/pier by themselves. If not sure how to get there the staff at the ticket office inside the building will be glad to explain the way.

  • If there are any changes, you will be notified by email or text message well before the departure.
  • Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure; recommended arrival time to the pontoon/pier is 20 minutes before the departure.

I had a bit of a panic because I couldn't work out where to catch the boat, but once I found it, I enjoyed a peaceful 45-minute trip on the river with lovely views of the city.

The activity was enjoyable, and the sunny weather made the tour even better. The ride highlights the most famous landmarks of the city along the Danube. However, I did miss having a guide to provide some information about the sights we passed. The walk to the boat could be better signposted, and if you want to get a seat for the tour, I recommend arriving early, as the seats are limited.

The crew from the boat were excellent. we could see out both sides. There were covered and uncovered area and an area great for taking photos. At 45 minutes the tour itself was bery short and didn't cover alot of ground, however the views of the castle, ufo and old town were very good.
