Full description
The tour will begin at 9:00 AM from the meeting point located in central Brasov. You will be driven in comfort to the Peasants Citadel, a medieval fortress built from at a time when Teutonic chevaliers ruled the Brasov County. Enjoy a visit around the fortress and observation point, and discover it's history and legends, stopping to take in the wonderful views of Brasov Plateau and the surrounding mountains.
The journey will continue towards Bran Castle. Completed in 1388, the castle was built on a steep cliff between Măgura and Dealul Cetăţii, with an exceptional view of the nearby hills. Learn about this famous castle, especially the tales of Count Dracula as you walk the ancient halls.
Next, you will head to Sinaia, the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family. The one hour drive offers spectacular views of surrounding nature and wildlife. Then encounter Peles Castle, considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Visit an architectural masterpiece, discover it's wonderful saloons and learn about the heritage.
On the route home, you can see the view of the Transylvanian Alps, the Bucegi Mountains, and the lively resort-towns of Busteni and Predeal.
