Following pickup from your accommodation in Brasov head 15 minutes outside the city, to the starting point of the hike towards the Seven Ladders Canyon. Enjoy an easy 1.5 hour hike through the forest, at the foothills of Piatra Mare mountain. Pass through the idyllic forest and continue along the trail until you reach the entrance to the canyon. After a short briefing, climb on metal ladders and bridges to continue your journey through the first gorge. After getting back to the car you will be taken to Rasnoavei Gorge, where you will see the majestic limestone cliffs carved here by the forces of nature. Here, you will find the highest zip line in the country and also, the highest bungee jumping installation in Romania. Stop lastly at Zarnesti Gorge, near the city of Zarnesti. After parking the car at the entrance of the reservation, you will begin an easy hike through the canyon, taking in the dramatic natural landscape that surrounds you. If you're lucky, maybe you can spot some chamois above you.
