We had the most amazing day with a totally excellent guide who was so knowledgable and friendly, we wanted for nothing. We had a lovely meal in a restaurant in Braga and our guide explained what all the local food was. We loved both Braga and Guimaeres and had plenty of time to enjoy both. The whole day was just so enjoyable and so much to see in both towns. Can thoroughly recommend this tour company, don't hesitate to book with them, You will not be disappointed.

The guides were very friendly but we would not consider them as “live guide” because they were not explaing things in a professional way or they were explaining little. We usually had free time to see the places. They took us to a restaurant which we were not very happy about. They did not have the food we ordered, but they told us 45 min. later, we spend too much time for lunch, the food was not good. Therefore we could not have enough time to see Guimares.

My daughter and I had an awesome day in the nature reserve. We got to see two totally different areas of the park, had a very nice hike to a waterfall, learned a lot about the flora and fauna. Very pleasant. One day later we got a photo documentation about our trip. This is all thanks to our guide Pedro, who is very nice person and very knowledgeable about the area; he even showed us which “steps” to take when climbing down to the waterfall.

The tour included beautiful landscapes, local history, fauna & flora, region typical lunch, a taste of the natural springs and a wonderful guide Pedro. The beautiful old Roman road was a pleasure to pass on either by car or by foot. The various trees in the woods are part of an unique ecosystem, combining Mediterranean and Atlantic species, and served as a peaceful environment for the day. We highly recommend taking this tour!

We could probably have given Guimaraes a miss! Braga was very pleasant and the walk up the steps to Bom Jesus was good post lunch exercise. The views would have been excellent but visibility was reduced by fires on the surrounding hills. Why do all of those Catholic religious figures always have to look so miserable? Our guide was competent and drove us well and left us to explore on our own from time to time.
