1. Burgundy Wines Full-Day Tasting Tour from Dijon
Enjoy a full-day wine tasting tour of the historic Burgundy wine region, with round-trip transfers from Dijon. Start your tour with a breathtaking views over the Corton hills of the Cote de Beaune, famous for its red and white Grand Cru wines. During the day, you will sample 9 to 12 white wines and Pinot noirs, including premiere and Grand Cru wines. You will also visit the cellars of a family-run wine estate to see the aged oak barrels and vintage wines. Then, enjoy lunch (own expense) and some free time in the historic town of Beaune, Burgundy’s wine capital. Your guide will suggest the best places to eat, and advise you about the local dishes and cheeses. You are free to do as you like in Beaune, but a visit to the mustard-makers of La Moutarderie Fallot (closed on Sundays) is highly recommended. As you wander the old town, you will find traditional shops selling local produce, such as blackcurrant liquor, mustard, honey spice cake, and Flavigny aniseed.
