This was the highlight of my week in Boston-the taverns were good fun and very close to each other, the beer was good, but our guide Gaby was just the best. I’m not usually much for American history but I got home from my trip and tried to remember every delightful fact I learned to my husband and resigned to just come back to Boston with him and take him on the tour.

The historic pub crawl was one of my favorite activities from my visit to Boston. My cousin (21f) and I (32f) did this tour together, with a small group of other travelers. The tour required proof of vaccination which allowed us to feel comfortable enjoying a few beers with our fellow travelers. The tour itself was SUPER informative with a lot of fun history on the city and nearby landmarks in addition to the pubs we visited and I had way too much fun helping to translate parts of the stories shared by our guide for some friends I made in the group who were from Argentina and spoke limited English.

This was a great way to explore a small part of Boston! Bars are close in proximity to each other and the recommended beers were awesome. Guide was very accommodating to people’s preferences and was also very knowledgeable on the history of Boston. We learned a lot, met some cool people, and had a wonderful time! I would recommend this tour. Only suggestion for improvement is to post which part of the Freedom Trail is covered/which bars the tour includes so people can plan the rest of their trips accordingly! We did this as the last part of our Boston experience so did not do much else along the Freedom Trail thinking most information would be covered during this tour. This tour covers a very small portion of the trail so there is definitely more room to explore the rest of the Freedom Trail without overlapping information.
