Full description

Considered the most important event that led to the American Revolution, the Boston Tea Party was part of a resistance movement in British America. Be part of this event that changed history on an interactive tour. Meet live characters, see replica ships, and learn about the people involved.

Take a handbill from one of the colonists and find out what part you’ll play. In the meeting house, hear the story of the night of December 16, 1773 and receive your own mohawk disguise before the march to Griffin's Wharf begins. Experience the thrill of throwing a crate of tea into the sea and explore the replica ships that recreate the original vessels from the 18th century. Inside the museum, travel back in time with 3D holographic characters and watch British soldiers and colonial patriots argue right before your eyes. Then experience the battle inside the giant wraparound theater for a complete history lesson.

This was a wonderful experience that all should enjoy. All ages can participate. The actors are wonderful, the kids loved that they could throw the tea into the water, and the tour of the museum was educational as well. The gift shop was the nicest one of any place we visited in Boston. And Abigail’s Tea Room was a nice are to wait, or eat sandwiches and pastries for sale. The tour was a little longer then an hour. We went early in the day, and although it seemed busy, we only had to wait a half hour for our tour. It sells out quickly. When I went online to order the tickets they were sold out for two days so order ahead.

Really immersive and fun. The actors are all outstanding! They bring this to life and it was fun to be the only Brit in the group but I completely could feel for the Bostonians rebelling against the taxation principles and how absolutely important it was to make that stand. The tea tasting was excellent again a way to relive the history in an authentic and tangible way. Very good prices too ! I exited through a marvellous gift shop which I could have spent way more in but didn’t have the luggage space - please do go and experience this. It’s absolutely five star!

A must-do in Boston! My mother and I went here during our 'Week in Boston' trip, and it was so fun and informative! We really liked being able to throw the 'tea' overboard, and the inspiring video at the end of the experience. Plus, the tea room/gift shop is adorable and will put together.
