Full description
Your day begins with a tour of historic 'Beantown'. Why this name? One theory hinges on the fact that Massachusetts has long been noted for its baked beans, a tradition dating back to her Native American roots. However, in the late 1600s, the area was synonymous with a very different product: rum. Take the tour to learn more!

Next stop, Cambridge. Along the way, you will see the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (high-tech campus), Harvard University, where you’ll glimpse the historic Harvard Yard. The tour will drive through Harvard Square en route to Lexington, the historic town where the American Revolutionary War began.

You'll experience Battle Road Trail in Concord, which was part of Paul Revere’s ride to warn the Minutemen about the oncoming British troops. You will also see the homes of Louisa May Alcott, author of the novel Little Women, and essayist and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson. We will stop by the Old North Bridge, site of the Battle of Concord (the first battle in the Revolutionary War).
Once you return to downtown Boston, you will visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace (also known as Quincy Market) where you can buy lunch and explore this historic tourist mall for 1.5 hours. After this stop, you will take a leisurely drive through the Beacon Hill and West End neighborhoods. Here you will see the New England Aquarium, one of Boston’s premier attractions, the beautiful Seaport District, and the famous King Street where the Boston Massacre occurred.

Your last stop will be the majestic USS Constitution, the world’s oldest commissioned warship afloat and America’s Ship of State.
