What People Are Saying About Borghese Gardens
It was very nice! Very comfortable to get the tickets to the reserved time! Will always do!
Visitors who have made a reservation in advance are not told that they also have to line up. Visitors are only told that no bags are allowed when they have yet received there tickets, so they have to line up a second time. all these enerving problems of bad or no communication could be solved if there was a written text( in several languages) at the entrance and not only in a folder that you gett after all these misery !
Excellent museum and a truly unique experience. The only negative was the long line to retrieve belongings at the end.
Our guide, incidentally named Guido, was amazing. His knowledge of art, history, and archeology was extensive. He was personable. His English was excellent, and indeed he was fluent in many languages. The tour used an individual earphone system, which worked well. There was a reasonable amount of time dedicated to the Gallery - 2 hours - which is what the Borghese administration allots per group. The third hour is spent strolling through the gardens; on our tour we ended up at the top of the Spanish Steps, at the Church of the Trinity (Trinita dei Monti). We felt we got the most out of our visit by taking this excellent tour of the Borghese Gallery.
