What People Are Saying About Borghese Gallery

absolutely fasinating tour, so much to take in. Lovely venue

This was a fantastic experience all made by the excellent guide Rebecca who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter. Rebecca is a credit to your organisation and hopefully we will meet her again. Martin & Anne.

Unexpectedly the most interesting part of our trip.

Our tour guide Louise Kennedy was so passionate about what she was explaining to us. She made the whole tour feel like a story where we really got to know the lives of the people mentioned, not just about their work. Unlike other guided tours we have been on, there was not any point where we felt ourselves zoning out. The whole experience was extremely enjoyable. The Borghese Museum was not originally at the top of my list of sightseeing to do in Rome, but I would now definitely recommend it to others. Most definitely worth the price.

Excellent guide of a spectular collection of art!

Anna was just the perfect guide - knowledgeable, excellent command of the interpretation of the works and their history, and I would recommend her to everyone! The Gallery itself, was filled with exquisite pieces - and the sculptures were just amazing.

Treasure house of Baroque Sculpture and Painting

The Borghese Gallery is unique - even in Rome - as a treasure house of baroque sculpture and painting the core of which was collected by one man: Scipione Borghese , Cardinal-Nephew of the Pope, rich beyond the dreams of avarice, powerful and a builder of a very personal and consistent collection of the very best art of his days. Rebecca - Bostoni as she would have been called if she had been an artist in baroque Rome - was a delightful guide, who as an art historian was able to give new insights and dimensions to this fabulous collection.
