Full description
Peddle through the famous vineyards of St-Emilion on this electric cycling day trip from Bordeaux. Visit two chateaux and a charming family-run wine estate, as well as a Great Classified Growth estate, and the Unesco-listed village of St-Emilion.  Start the day with a short drive (50 min) to the St-Emilion region. Begin by touring the charming village of St-Emilion which has been classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1999, then the e-bike tour will take you to see famous wineries like Petrus or Château Cheval Blanc. Cycle through lush vineyards by bike and arrive at the first chateau which is run by a local family. Walk through the vineyards and learn about the estate’s traditional way of making wine. Savor a wine tasting and continue to the garden for a flavorful lunch.  Explore the estate on a guided tour and learn about their winemaking process from the vine to the bottle. At the end of the tour try a hand-picked selection of their wines. Head back to Bordeaux and conclude your tour.

Fantastic day and well worth the expense. Our guide Dorian was brilliant and full of knowledge of Bordeaux, St Emilion and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this trip, mainly due to the e-bike ride through the countryside, it was beautiful! The e-bikes are high though, so make sure you read the height restrictions as there was someone on our tour who couldn’t join for the bike ride as they couldn’t get onto the bike, I'm 5 ft 3 and managed it.
