From Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion Wine Tour in a Sidecar

Our Retro guide was a dapper and period dressed Arnoud; he rode well and safely, was friendly, amusing and knowledgeable - an excellent tour guide. The whole event was simply enormous fun and a great way to spend the day with a friend, even as a motorcyclist who would much rather have been driving the sidecar combination than a passenger. An easy and comfortable journey from Bordeaux to St. Emilion (we had just light a shower en-route), even for the non-motorcycle rider who was very happy in the sidecar for the outbound journey, and then tried and enjoyed riding pillion the rest of the day! The scenery especially at St. Emilion is stunning, and our exclusive-for-two wine tour Couvent des Jacobins was perfect, with our sommelière guide Rachael making the visit really interesting, the short tasting fun and so it was a pleasure to buy a case to ride back to Bordeaux with us after a walk around the beautiful village. I can not recommend this gentle adventure highly enough. Thanks to all.

This was such an amazing experience! It was our first full day in the Bordeaux area and it was such an excellent beginning to this visit- it was informative and very, very entertaining. Alex was an amazing guide, provided us with lots and lots of information and tips. The ride was such a fun and memorable experience. It was a gorgeous trip and I would recommend it as a must-do in the area to all.
