This tour (with Emmanuel ) was a genuine 5 star review. Maybe I’ll say it’s a 6 star. Great in all aspects- fairly quick ride in a nice van to an excellent vineyard in St. Emilion where we had a tour of the vines, the production process and a comfortable tasting. In the ride over Emmanuel gave us the history of the area and the wine grown there. He was open to questions and always had answers. After the winery we explored the town. The guide bought everyone the signature macarons. We started at 9 and returned by 1:30 as promised. He was one of the best guides we have had on this trip and I highly recommend booking this tour.

We had an excellent day with Emmanuel. It was a very private tour (only 7 people) with great insights into the wineries around Bordeaux, a lovely tasting of three wines at a château in Saint-Émilion, and a 75–90 minute walk through the town, including a tasting of the local macarons. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a glimpse of the Saint-Émilion region.

Journey from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion, a beautifully-preserved historical town dating back to the Middle Ages. Enjoy a half-day tour of this UNESCO-listed village, including an organic wine tasting.

Visit an organic winery where the winemaker shares his winery's environmental approach. Take a tour of the vineyard and beautiful cellar before sitting down for a delectable wine tasting (3 wines minimum, mainly red).

OPTIONAL - If you book the “Saint-Emilion & Pomerol” option, you'll also visit a second prestigious winery, followed by a tasting of 4 exceptional red wines. OPTIONAL

Take a stroll through the village's narrow streets, and explore its old market square and famous monuments. Enjoy a lot of breathtaking panoramic views and take many amazing pictures. Learn about the medieval history of this quintessential French village and its surrounding vineyards.

Return to Bordeaux at the end of the excursion.

Me and my husband really enjoyed the tour. Emmanuel from Vert Bordeaux was an excellent guide. We did not have any problems finding the pick up location and he was on time. He was also very knowledgeable and I love that he is really a local. He grew up in Bordeaux and his family is from Bordeaux. I highly recommend him. He also does tours in Medoc and a walking tour in Bordeaux. I also liked the fact that what we visited is a family-run chateau. Saint-Emilion is beautiful. It’s really a must see.
