Our guide was thorough and charming. She gave the whole tour in french and english which was very impressive. The wines were quite nice, the pours were truly a taste though as opposed to a proper glass but that’s alright. Beautiful scenery on a nice boat that wasn’t crowded at all. Felt worth the price of admission. Would have been nice to learn how to tatste the wines before serving them rather than after, as we had not had a proper crash course in tasting prior to this tour.

    Excellent despite the weather!

We were unlucky to choose a cool rainy day for this tour but still very much enjoyed it. The guide, Marie, was excellent . She spoke knowledgeably and amusingly in both French and English. Her presentation was so clear that, even though I am a long way from fluent in French, I understood possibly 80% of her French explanations. Plus, the white wine was delicious!

Nice to see Bordeaux from the river!

We took the wine cruise as we wanted to do some wine tasting. We had 2 good wines, but for the real wine experience a trip to a vineyard is more rewarding. The tour guide knew much about the city (and wines as well) and told some interesting things while we were cruising. The weather was good and the the city looked awesome in the sun. Very nice to see Bordeaux from the river! If you want to drink 2 nice wines and want to do a small cruise on the river, this would be a nice combination!
