The tour was absolutely fantastic! Galaad was such a phenomenal tour guide, who seemed personally invested in our happiness! She went out of her way to make the tour comfortable, personable, and fun! Her love for the city of Bordeaux and the surrounding areas was evident. Everything was very interesting concerning the history of Saint-Emilion and the wine making process. The walk through the village of Saint-Emilion was like a walk through time. I could not recommend this tour more!

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire tour at the winery and exploring St Emilion. Our guide was kind and informative. She made sure we were comfortable and happy. Even in the rain we had a very interesting walk around vineyards and wine making site. We would highly recommend this half day for trip especially if you want a more intimate experience.

Full description

Take a scenic drive to the beautiful wine region of Saint-Emilion on the right bank of the Dordogne River and tour this World Heritage Site. Experience the intimacy of the private chateau, learn the secrets of wine production, discover the vat room & cellar and taste some of the finest wines. Depart Bordeaux in the afternoon and visit a "Great Classified Growth" (Grand Cru Classé) wine estate overlooking the Saint-Emilion vineyards. Hear about the wine-making process and reward yourself with an aperitif served with quality fresh bread and cheese.   Learn the steps of proper wine tasting at a tasting class. Train your nose to identify wine aromas before enjoying some fine wines. Then, take a guided tour of the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, and discover why it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Bordeaux for a drop-off at the end of the tour.
