This was such a fabulous activity. We felt totally supported by our guides Ruma and Dan who were a great team. Ruma, outgoing, exuberant, and kind. Dan equally kind but quiet and trustworthy. My husband chose not to snorkel and Dan would bring him little treasures from the sea. We spent three hours swimming with coral. Sharks and other creatures. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at Matira beach, included in the price of the excursion. Overall a bargain by Bora Bora standards and a fabulous trip. Could not recommend more highly.

The guide was great, the sharks were scary at first but then are so peaceful. The stingrays are so friendly, and the coral garden is some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done.

Full description

Start your two and a half-hour Bora Bora snorkeling tour in the afternoon, boarding a motorboat that will take you across the lagoon. Make multiple snorkeling stops along the way for close-up looks at sharks, rays and other marine life. Stop near the barrier reef and discover a coral garden teeming with nearly 700 species of tropical fish. Black-tip reef sharks are a highlight of Bora Bora. Continue your excursion where you'll have the chance to spot sea turtles, dolphins, whales, leopard rays, and manta rays, depending on the weather conditions and time of year
