Excellent trip! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing and learning about the process for making cheese and balsamic vinegar. Our guide, Claudio, was so knowledgeable and walked us through each step. We also had the opportunity to meet the cows as well as some very free range chickens, sheep and other farm animals. We then drove over to learn about the process for making balsamic vinegar. There were delicious tastings for both the cheese and vinegar as well as starting the day with some herbasole (local dish) and coffee. I also appreciated having the van pickup at the train station. We were able to take a direct train from Bologna with no need to rent a car. Claudio was in close communication and very helpful to ensure we took the correct train. Remember you are going to a farm. So I recommend sensible shoes for the barn and cheese factory. Overall, one of the best tours we have done.

Holy cow!! What a day we had indeed! Loris was a wonderful guide and really made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions around the parm and prosciutto. My partner and I agreed that he made the trip so special because of his wonderful depth of knowledge and the fun loving attitude he brought to the tour. We were able to eat samples of both the products and see how they were produced. Enjoying freshly sliced prosciutto with the owner of the prosciutto production facility felt like a wonderful way to start off our 2025! I would happily take a tour like this again and it made me want to come back to Parma soon to see what else it has to offer.

Our driver Adriano was so nice, he spoke a little Spanish so it was easy for us to communicate. The drive was comfortable and secure. We arrived early to Lamborghini so we had enough time to see the Museum and spend more time in Ferrari Museum which was amazing!! So much history and quality of construction. The tour was inside a bus trough the Ferrari fabric buildings and at the end stopped to see part of the track. Lunch was satisfying and yummy, two courses, wine and coffee. We always felt taken care of.

This was a fantastic beginning to our Tuscan gastronomic experience. Everyone at Bottega Bottlé was super knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and local products from Bologna. We learned a tremendous amount, and look forward to continuing our exploration through the products we discovered. The only challenging part was selecting the products to keep because we wanted to buy everything!

Everything was on time. Friendly driver. Very comfortable Mercedes van for the small group of 6 people. The 4 visits were very well attended. The Parmesan cheese tour was exceptional.
