What to Expect
Discover the beauty of the Bogotá savanna, a high plateau in central Colombia, on a full-day adventure aboard a steam train.
After pick-up from your hotel, find yourself a seat on the train and set off to explore the Colombian countryside. Visit the town of Zipaquirá, and take the option to visit the famous Salt Cathedral; a Roman Catholic church built underground in the tunnels of a salt mine. The train will also stop in Cajicá, a town that is representative of others in the area.
As you travel, you will also hear traditional Colombian music as performed by a papayera band. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at a convenient place within the city.
