Overall, tour was very good. Driver was friendly and efficient. Coffee tour guide and experience was great. Interesting and just the right length. Stop at Tequendama was simply a photo op and not so great. Was nervous about traveling alone with my daughter but all was excellent. Felt safe and learned a lot and we had fun!

Full description

Start with a pickup from your accommodation. Then, sit back and relax to enjoy a drive through the countryside and appreciate the beautiful view on the way to the coffee farm. Next, go on a guided tour of the farm and learn the secrets of coffee production, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Find out how coffee-making at this farm has evolved to industrial levels, and hear how the fruits have a huge influence on the taste of the coffee. See wild birds in their natural habitat too. Also, check out Tequendama Falls, a scenic waterfall on the Bogota River that is 433 ft (132 meters) high.

At the end of the tour, taste some delicious coffee liquor, which is a specialty produced at this farm. Finally, transfer back to Bogota and finish up at the door of your accommodation.

A highlight of our week in Bogota; the guide gave us a hands on experience of the whole process of from coffee planting to coffee growing to coffee cleaning, drying and roasting. At the end we got to taste some great coffee with coffee liquor and we bought some of the best coffee to bring home for gifts.
