The day before yesterday we had the exciting tour to the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquira. Our guide David and our driver John picked us up on time and David accompanied us from the beginning with great expertise. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the history of salt mining in this region. First he explained the history of the Stations of the Cross and then all the other necessary infrastructure that is basically part of a cathedral. Nevertheless, he got us to the daily light show in the main room of the cathedral on time. Perfect timing. In the local restaurant we were greeted with our homeland flag and had delicious local food and live music. The fact that we didn't find time at the end to stroll through the old town only detracted minimally from the otherwise great tour. Thank you David.

Our guides, David and William, were absolutely fantastic! We had a little issue at the airport and got delayed. They were so flexible to our situation and they adapted our tour. We had an amazing experience visiting the Salt Cathedral. Our tour guide, Mauricio, knew all about the cathedral and made the experience amazing. He then took us to a delicious local restaurant for lunch. A special shout out to our driver, Mr. William, who expertly navigated the chaotic streets of Bogota.
