From start to finish it was excellent! Jovhanny was funny and super personable the entire trip, his knowledge of everything was truly exceptional and we learned a lot more than we anticipated. Loved how he went at our speed as we had a 5 year old with us. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and the walking isn’t bad at all, it’s almost all downhill and a tram brings you back up at the end.

Had a really fun day! Got picked up by Cristian at our hotel and he brought us to the cathedral. At the cathedral he fixed the audiotour and explained everything to us. Inside the mine we lost track of time a little, but he had no problem with it! Got picked up the moment we were outside again and had some time to lunch in Zipaquira. Overall a good experience with a great driver!

After pickup from your hotel in Bogotá, be driven to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá. Follow your private guide or the audio guide through the tunnels, depending on the chosen option. Marvel at the underground Roman Catholic church carved into salt from the largest saline rock deposit in the world.

Visit the three sections of the bottom temple, representing the birth, life, and death of Jesus. Admire the icons, ornaments, and architectural details carved into the rock. Marvel at the central dome where Eucharists are performed, with unique sculptures, lighting, and natural deposits.

Jhon was amazing! He was very charming and knowledgeable, making even the long car ride very enjoyable. Jhon was very attentive and willing to accommodate any requests as possible.
