We found the Tour very inspiring even though my girlfriend doesn't speak Spanish. The driver was friendly, helpful and kept telling us about the history of the different places we visited. This gives you a nice picture of Bogotá (and Colombia). The guide at Lake Guatavita was also enthusiastic and therefore kept her attention. The hike to the lake was also beautiful. The lunch was tasty. And the visit to the salt cathedral was interesting, but a real guide would have been of added value.

Carlos Garcia our driver was EXTREMELY patient with us! He was very clear in his instructions about timing, however, it seemed that someone was always late or wandered off but he was always friendly and kind to the late birds. The reason timing was important was due to traffic (Sunday traffic due to the bikers in Ciclovia is slow) and he wanted to ensure we had enough time to spend in the Salt Cathedral.

We had a great day, the highlight for us was the hike to the Laguna del Cacique Guatavita. Beautiful sites, interesting history. Wear comfortable shoes, the walk isn't too bad but with the altitude it can be a bit tiring. We stopped for a late lunch after, the food was great. The salt cathedral is very interesting & worth a visit, it is a little bit theme park like & had a few extra attraction that don't quite fit. Bear in mind that traffic is bad in the evening, we got back around 9pm local time, not a problem for us but something to allow for. Overall highly recommended, Carlos Garcia & Lina were lovely as we're all of the other guides.
