Full description
Join us on our Coffee Farm experience as we set out from the center of the city and head an hour and a half deeper into the mountains of Bogotá! We will start the day by enjoying a traditional Colombian breakfast together and then go to meet our local farmers. We will discuss what it means to be an organic coffee farm and what the daily tasks of a farmer look like. Walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants. We’ll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it, and then afterward we will enjoy a delicious cup of coffee prepared in a unique way. If the weather and season permit, we will even get to plant our own coffee! We wrap up the tour with local cuisine for lunch and began the trip back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Total duration: 7-8 hours.

We’d had a great time on the coffee tour and loved spending the day learning about the process with our guide and host. The breakfast and lunch were delicious, the views really beautiful, and the coffee smooth and flavorful. My only feedback is this was a much longer tour than we expected. We weren’t back till around 5:30pm. I think the tour can be shortened quite a bit. There is a ton of information that could be condensed down to make it more concise.

Amazing day tour to organic coffee farm! For the second time I got most amazing guide Andrea, who makes this tours friendly, pleasent, relaxing and so enjoyable! She is super knowledgeable, also patient and kind to answer so many questions that we had! Farm is beautiful, and view around in breathtaking! Greenery, mountains, other got relexed just by watching it. Although I started learning Spanish month ago I was able to understand majority what the lady who is owner of the farm was explaining, that's how much they are putting effort for you to understand and learn. Everything else, if I didn't understand Andrea would explain in English. If you don't speak at all you will get all info in English, I wanted to practice Spanish! Farm owners (mother and her daughter) are such a wonderful ladies, pleasent, happy, and kind. Growing coffee looks so beautiful when they are talking about it. Breakfast, lunch and their own coffee were perfect! Worth more than you pay it! Don't miss

East meet up at meeting place. Lovely, scenic, comfortable ride to coffee farm. Our host, Gina, was amazing. Very Knowledgeable, great speaker/translator in both English and Spanish. The farm owner really loved her coffee, the farm and enjoyed sharing the process with us. The breakfast and lunch were like 2 home cooked family meals. And the location is quite beautiful. Highly recommend this tour!
