We really enjoyed the tour. Of course it takes a while to arrive from Bodrum, but in between there were always stops for breakfast and legs in place. We didn't really need the mud bathing, but it was still a funny thing. Afterwards we went to lunch and to the Dalyan Tombs. The boat trip was quiet, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Turtle Beach was also an experience. The sandy beach is miles long and there are no hotels to be seen far and wide. We even caught a glimpse of a turtle. We liked the fact that photos could also be taken and purchased later. The photographers were very pleasant and not pushy, overall we are happy to have done the tour.

Well organized tour with nice guides

I did the tour with my girlfriend on July 7, 2016. The day before the tour we received a message that the tour started at 6:30 am due to unforeseen circumstances. If this did not work out well for us, we could exchange the day. We were picked up at our hotel at 6:30 am and left for daylen. It is about a 3.5-hour drive and therefore a stop was made after 2 hours to have breakfast. Stop is at a roadside restaurant where breakfast is offered for 4Tl. The journey continued towards the first stop, the mud baths. You have 45 minutes to bathe in mud. The third stop is made at the lunchroom. You can make a choice between fresh trout, chicken or an omelet. There is also an open buffet with rice, salads and fruit. The tour continues on a boat. You sail past a number of ruins where the guides tell an interesting story. Then you see if you're lucky (80% according to the guides) turtles. Then two hours to the beach. Then the return journey starts.

Don’t bother!

Driver turned up late (supposed to be 6.50am but was more like 7.30) and took us to what can only be described as a piece of wasteland where we were offloaded and directed to our coach (with other coaches meeting at same place). The coach we were put on was old and stuffy. We couldn’t sit next to each other because there were no seats left together. The air conditioning went off at one point for about 20 mins which was unbearable in the 36 degree heat! The journey was 3.5 hours with a half hour stop for breakfast. We then arrived at the mud baths which were good but we only had 45 mins there before we had to leave for lunch. The boat then took us to our lunch place which was another 45 mins stop. Then boat trip to see tombs would have been quite nice if there wasn’t hundreds (literally) of other boats all doing the same route - poor environment! Then a stop at a very crowded beach for 1.5 hours before the 3.5 hour coach trip back. Just not worth the very long hot day!
