Full description
Embark on a guided trip to the Blue Mountains on a full-day minivan tour from Sydney. Visit multiple lookouts and take in the views of Jamison Valley. Ride the world's steepest railway and visit Sydney Zoo. Your first port of call will be at Echo Point, where you will have the closest and best view of the Three Sisters. Witness the blue haze and the vast expanse of the Jamison Valley, and experience for yourself the raw magic the Blue Mountains create. Next, visit Scenic World and dare yourself to ride the steepest railway in the world. The trains drive down with an incline of 52-64 degrees, but the views from the top are also spectacular. The Scenic Cableway & Skyway offers magnificent views of the Three Sisters and the Valley. Your tour guide will then take you down to the valley floor whilst explaining the area and coal mine. After, visit the quaint village of Leura. Explore the boutique store and enjoy lunch at one of the cafes or restaurants (at your own expense). On the way back to Sydney, venture to the Western Plains to visit Sydney Zoo — Sydney’s ultimate wildlife experience. See a koala or a wallaby with an amazing nocturnal enclosure of Australian mammals and reptiles. Sydney Zoo not only provides a huge range of Australian animals but also animals from all over the world. A perfect way to end a magnificent day interacting with Australia’s native fauna. Your trip to Sydney is not complete without a ferry ride on Parramatta River to Circular Quay. You will travel under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House before disembarking at Circular Quay where your tour will conclude at approx 4.30pm - 5pm (depending on traffic and ferry).

It was a nice trip, there were only eight of us, unfortunately we weren't so lucky with the weather and unfortunately couldn't see anything because of the fog. At noon we were still in the zoo, which was great and then the return trip by boat was also great. The guide was funny and had all sorts of interesting things to say. Lunch was super tasty too.

The tour started off with views of the Three Sisters at Echo Point at Blue Mountain and then we went to Scenic world where we rode the worlds steepest railway, the cable car and walked through the rainforest. We the had an amazing lunch and continued onto the Featherdale reserve where we got up close with the kangaroos and the koalas. We then finished off with a beautiful ferry ride back to Circular Quay. It’s an experience we will remember for years to come.

Our guide was very informative and entertaining. When there was a great amount of fog, he kindly adjusted the schedule so we would have a better chance of seeing the Blue Mountains once the fog had moved. The sights were brilliant and majestic. The visit to the zoo was great- we were able to feed Kangaroos and see some of Australia’s unique wildlife. Lunch was good as well, as was the bus- which was brand new. Overall a fantastic experience.
