It was all easy to get along with, the help desk at the bus terminal we’re very informative. Blue lagoon was great, especially for photo ops (most likes on my Insta pic ever ) and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights constantly for 2 hours. Our guide Emma was great for the northern lights, giving a right balance of information, banter and also went down the coach and helped everyone set up their cameras to get great Northern Lights pics. Also there was a guy selling hot chocolates and waffles from a van which went down a treat.
The severe weather intervened in our trip, making it less attractive to go in the water. Had it been less so, we still might not have gone in, but we would certainly have walked around outside to experience the site fully. But it was impossible to walk about - in fact we were snowed in the bus shelter for a few hours. The cafe, however, was very good and despite the atrocious driving conditions, we felt very safe with our driver.
The tour guides were very welcoming and friendly and it was very efficient. Having the break and time to ourselves in between the blue lagoon and northern lights tour was good. It was fab to do both trips in one day to allow time on the other days for other trips!
Well organised, with very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Iceland.
