We chose the backpacker option and were very satisfied; friendly hosts, clean, very tasty, regional food! Mark tried very hard, had a lot to say, even if it was sometimes a bit difficult for non-native speakers to understand. There were 11 of us, so there was only one free spot. The usual maximum number of participants is 8-9 guests. So it was quite crowded. Whale watching is definitely worth recommending! At the ostrich farm there were actually only ostriches and 2 giraffes to feed, but it was rather boring. The morning safari in Addo was unfortunately not worth it for us: we only saw elephants from a very long way away, zebras, antelopes. We'll say a lot more about the subsequent drive through the park in the minibus. But that probably depends a lot on the weather and the time of year! The viewpoints/landscapes were very impressive!

First of all: Our Guide Chris was amazing. You made this trip even more outstanding and special. Thank you so much for your effort, dedication, endurance and guidance throughout these 5 days. All the knowledge about your beautiful country. We will never forget this and you!! To the trip: it is really worth it and gets better from day to day. We would skip the caves and the ostrich farm tbh, but the safari is so nice. Seeing all these animals wild and “free”. So special. All hotels are clean and good. The highlight is for sure the Addo elephant park and the game lodge in the end. Do it!!

It was incredibly great! So many unforgettable moments in 5 days, the group was great and our guide Denver did a great job to ensure we had the best and most interesting time. I would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to see and experience a lot in a short time.

Good selection of some of the best places on the garden route. Just the right amount of activities every day, and a very good guide who adapts to each individual.

It was a really nice tour along the Garden Route and Road 62… Great accommodations, a new adventure every day and great guides (Gareth and Terri).
