Bloubergstrand

The tour departs at 07:30 AM from Cape Town’s V&A waterfront or your central city hotel and the route takes you past Blouberg where you will stop for a 5-minute photo opportunity of Table Mountain across Table Bay. The beautiful coastal road takes you past Melkbosstrand from where you'll follow the R27 to Buffelsfontein.  After a welcoming cup of tea or coffee you'll be transported in an open-top game viewing vehicle at 09:00 AM for a 3-hour long professionally-guided tour. After this mini safari leave these friendly people behind and go to the quaint village of Darling. First stop for an olive and wine tasting at Alexanderfontein farm. Next visit Darling Breweries for a taste of some of the craft beers in their range, while enjoying lunch at the same time. Darling Brew Tasteroom & Brewery offers an interactive and fascinating beer tasting experience in the tasting room and bar, which overlooks the working microbrewery.  After beers and lunch we make a quick stop at Darling Sweets to taste their homemade toffees before taking a short ride back to Cape Town via Bloubergstrand, where you can admire the most spectacular view over the ocean towards Table Mountain, after which you will be dropped off at your collection point.

Guests will be collected from their hotel or guesthouse in Cape Town and transferred to Atlantis Dunes, collection will be in a Sedan , SUV Vehicle or a Mini Bus depending on the size of the group. The Atlantis Dunes located 52kms outside of Cape Town RSA, boasts over 20km² of sand based terrain. Upon arrival, will have quad bike orientation and safety talk, thereafter, the tour begins and we start disseminating the educational information at various mini stop overs. We proceed to ride on the quad bikes to the designated area where the gazebo and bumper balls are located and where clients can buy water and snacks and taking nice pictures and videos We proceed with quad bike tour to the nature reserve headquarters. Once there, we end our tour. Drop off back at hotel or guesthouse in cbd area only. Researchers found the fossil footprints of a woman, called "Eve's footprints", which she once left in the sand. Today we know that this woman was about 1,40m tall and walked along the beach about 117.000 years ago. Only between August and October does the landscape change, because with winter rains the flowers show their full bloom. Indulge yourself with South African wine and experience the world renowned view of the so called "blue" mountain, namely Table Mountain from Blouberg beach.
