Excellent, knowledgeable host and driver Mike accommodated our last minute booking and picked us up at the Blenheim Airport at 10am when our flight was delayed and we were unable to reach our hotel pick-up place in time. We were a total of 7 in a comfortable van that could have held squeezed in 5 more. We were pre-booked and expected at Nautilus, Spy Master and Framingham (and sampled 4 wines at each) before stopping for lunch at Allan Scott. Lunch was on our own dime. It was a relaxed pace and the hosts at each winery gave us much information about their wines. No hard sell whatsoever. We were 3 couples and a single guy, and got to know each other superficially as you do when fate throws you together on a tour like this. I enjoyed the 6-1/2 hr day and loved eating grapes off the vines, as we were allowed to do. IMHO, the best grapes were far and away the sauvignon blanc at Cloudy Bay, which I walked over to while waiting for lunch to be prepared. Bravo Jade and Mike!

A wonderful day spent with our guide a local, Ian, who knows the area, the wine and the food. Pamela the manager of the tour company greeted us at the first winery with a cheese and fruit platter we sat and had a glass of wine a great start to an amazing tour. We visited a few wineries and enjoyed the tastings as well as a Chocolate factory. The lunch was the highlight of the trip at an beautiful winery, seated outside in the sunshine with outstanding food that was delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this private wine and gourmet tour because it was just that private and well organised the food and wine was amazing.

Had an enjoyable and very relaxing afternoon - a friendly and knowledgeable driver who arrived on time and went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. Good value too - we sampled 15 different wines! Highly recommend this experience

Mike was a fantastic guide. He was punctual, very informative and great company. He had a sound understanding of wine and just about everything New Zealand. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Such a great day out! Mike is so friendly and knowledgeable and the wines were all fantastic (we ended up buying 3 bottles!). Lunch is really yummy too. Would deffo recommend.
