    From Ljubljana to the Alpine region below the Julian Alps, you will reach Bled, the magnificent Alpine resort. Ascend the old castle perched on top of a steep cliff above the glacial Lake Bled. The castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and its tiny island in the middle. Take a boat ride with a Pletna – traditional boat made by locals and reach the only true island in Slovenia. Ring the ‘fortune bell’ and soak up the sun, peace and fresh mountain air. Stop for tastings of some local food in Bled before returning to Ljubljana.

    Convenient pickup time and place; easy going and very busy excursion with everything perfectly timed by our guide, Jan. Breathtakingly stunning natural history and culture. Just the right temperature for swimming Bellevue cafe great for views and Krem pite!

    Really nice few hours to see castle and lake! Our guide was friendly and k re her stuff! Comfortable van also, would recommend! Only thing I was confused about was that it was sane price if coming from Ljubljana or from bled! Quote a difference in distance there but overall loved it

    Our guide was lovely and full of information, as well as being a good driver. The castle and lake are amazing, I might’ve preferred a bit more time at the castle and less at the lake, but I am so glad we chose to take the tour, it was really wonderful.
