What people are saying about Bled
We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience in Bled. Our guide, Tina, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In an old and atmospheric wine cellar we were able to taste seven (2x white, 1x orange, 1x blend, 2x red 1x dessert) different Slovenian wines. Before the actual tasting, we got an introduction to the Slovenian wine regions (with the help of a map on the wall) and grapes. Next to the wines we were provided with home-made bread and pumpkin seed oil, cheese, ham and olives. With three of the wines we were able to taste some hand-made chocolates from a very small Ljubljana manufacturer. In the end, we passed the quiz and were rewarded with a small souvenir. We were able to buy the wines which ranges from EUR 13 to EUR 25 per bottle. All in all, we would totally recommend the Bled wine tasting. It was very fun and informative.
Our trip to Bled was perfect! I wish I remembered our guide's name but she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We got so lucky as the weather was great. It was sunny for us and it had shown rain days prior. It could not have been more of a perfect day. The Caves were GREAT!!!! So beautiful! I have to mention, due to Corona, we pretty much had minimal tourists in all the spots we had visited. I doubt it would be that way next time so we were VERY LUCKY to have experienced these wonderful sites the way we had. Highly recommended!!!!
One of my best day trips ever ! And I've had a lot of day trips in my life . And it's all because of the guide " Alinka" .She was the greatest of all guides ! Very knowledgeable, very caring and gave us time to do the walks with no pressure! Thank you Alinka xoxo
Fabulous small group tour of Postojona limestone caves, Predjama Castle and Lake Bled. Our guide was so informative, making our experience more personal and supportive. Had such a wonderful day seeing so many beautiful and amazing sights. Thank you!
Great tour, but guide really helped make it so. Very knowledgeable and gave us so much history and information. A long day (lots of driving), but nice sites. If only time for 1 thing, I preferred the cave and first castle, over the Lake Bled stuff.
