Full description
To start, check out the original rail lines in the city and learn all about Birmingham's origins. From there, venture to Birmingham's baseball history, then over to a local peanut shop that has been roasting in the same building for over 100 years.  Head to Sloss Furnaces to see the only 20th-century blast furnace site being preserved in the United States. Driving back into the city, see some of the architecture of early Birmingham. Visit Kelly Ingram Park to learn about those who marched for equal rights in Birmingham before driving out to see two historic sports stadiums. Close with a panoramic view of Birmingham from Vulcan Park and see the largest cast iron statue ever made. Get a taste of this historical city and a taste of its best local snacks.
