A very full day with a reasonable drive time from Muscat. Nice visit to the Nizwa fort, the souk (quite high prices and difficult to negotiate) and the markets. Good restaurant in Birkat Al Mouz. Change of car and guide for Djebel Akhdar. The first guide was young and we sometimes had trouble understanding him in English (he also had braces which made understanding difficult at times). The second guide did not speak much English but gave us translated information on his phone. Nevertheless, they were both very friendly and it did not spoil our day. Very beautiful views of the Green Mountains
