The wineries we visited were very interesting, the wine tastings were delicious and the guide was very friendly, knowledgeable about the subject and history. We loved it and I highly recommend it.
It was a fantastic day! Our personal guide picked us up at the hotel in Bilbao. On the way to La Riocha he told us a lot about the wine region and surroundings. We visited 3 different wineries, where we were allowed to taste delicious wines and received an extensive explanation, each time in a beautiful setting. Afterwards we had a very nice meal and with matching wines in a picturesque restaurant in La Guardia. An old and cozy town on a mountain. After a nice walk there we drove back to Bilbao. On the way we chatted with our guide about the day and the region, until he dropped us back at our hotel. It was a nice ending after our week in Bilbao. It was worth the money! M and G from Antwerp
