What people are saying about Bilbao

We enjoyed the tour very much! Since it was rainy, we did the first part of the tour, where it was steeper uphill and downhill, on foot. We were in Bilbao Viejo, which has a lot of art, street art and studios. Then we cycled to the new island, where the upheaval is only now taking place, heavy industry is disappearing and new things are emerging. There we stopped in a really cool shop for a beer and then cycled back. Our guide was great, he witnessed the upheaval in the city from the very beginning, how the artists changed the city, he talked a lot about the sewing box, it was very interesting.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bilbao, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in art, culture, history and people. Our guide Txema was extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for the art scene in Bilbao was addictive! We saw areas of the city we would probably not have gone to on our own and learnt a lot more about the post-industrial history of the city than through any guide book. Inspirational!

Very relaxed guide who knows how to convey his enthusiasm well. He has a lot of knowledge of art, culture, history of the city and social projects. The tour is very diverse: street art, buildings and cultural activities. He speaks English very good. The bike ride is at a pleasant pace and takes you to parts of the city that you might not otherwise visit.

Chema was an excellent guide. He lives in the neighborhood and knows all its corners and knows how to tell many anecdotes. The tour is a bit exhausting because you have to go up and down many hills, but it is very interesting. We have discovered a part of Bilbao that as tourists we would never have seen.

The tour was very intersting. We went several places and saw a lot of spots you would normally not encounter... The guide was very friendly and had the best background possible to explain and give info first hand... Many thanks again and maybe till next time:)
